What is the course about?

This introductory course is designed to provide a broad understanding of the Lean Six Sigma roadmap, the concepts of variability and how they can  negatively affect process performance. The Six Sigma Module is designed to provide awareness of Six Sigma principles to employees at any level in an organization. Students will learn to identify the benefits of a Six Sigma implementation, how the DMAIC process is used, and the roles of various team members. The Lean Module introduces the basic foundations of Lean. Learn the skills necessary to apply Lean techniques to reduce waste and improve process efficiency.
